We get it right because we know what happens when you get it wrong. There's nothing worse than hiring a convincing chancer whose finest moment is the interview, because firing is soooooooooo much harder than hiring.

We have a network of creative contacts, from students to seniors, and we partner with Australia's most respected creative recruitment professionals. We'll work with them to ensure you're meeting candidates who can nail the job, not just the interview.

Whether it's film, radio, music composition, animation or photography, we'll help you find, brief and manage the right production people. Because the better the idea, the greater the disappointment if it falls flat in the execution.

Directer is run by me, Dav Tabeshfar. (Excuse me while I slip into first-person for a moment, but it feels a little disingenuous writing about myself in third.)  

As an agency owner, creative director and tutor, I've spent much of my career nurturing commercial creativity in students, creatives and clients.

I understand what it takes from a personal and a cultural perspective, to perform at the highest level, having won over 100 local, national and international awards, including PADC Copywriter of the Year (2011, 2017 & 2024) and Australia's most coveted effectiveness award, the Grand Effie. 

More importantly, I have learned how to guide with kindness and clarity.

Why do I refer to Directer as we, rather than me? Because I won't always be the right Directer for your team and your brand. Sometimes you might want a Design Directer, a Social Directer or a CX Directer. I've been building teams around brands for a long time, so I know who'll be the best creative and cultural fit for your objectives.
